These terms apply to enquiries and bookings with Pause Photography. A signed proposal or invoice may include additional project-specific terms that take precedence for your celebration.
Services
We provide wedding photography, cinematography, and related creative services as described in your quote. Deliverables, crew size, coverage hours, and delivery timelines are defined in your booking documents.
Bookings & payments
- A booking is confirmed when agreed fees and any retainer are received as stated in your proposal.
- Dates are held only after confirmation; we recommend securing your date early.
- Payment schedules, taxes, and cancellation terms are set out in your contract.
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate event details, timelines, and points of contact.
- Ensure we have reasonable access, meal breaks, and safe working conditions on event days.
- Obtain permissions for locations or venues that require them.
Copyright & usage
Pause Photography retains copyright in all images and films we create. Clients receive a personal-use licence as defined in the booking agreement. Commercial or third-party use requires written permission.
Promotional use
Unless you opt out in writing, we may share selected work for portfolio, website, and social media. We never share private gallery links publicly without consent.
Limitation of liability
We carry professional care in equipment and backup workflows. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected service, except where law does not permit limitation.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events outside reasonable control (including severe weather, government restrictions, or venue closure). We will work with you on rescheduling where possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, have exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise agreed in writing.
